About Pixart Design
Welcome to the home of
Pixart Design, the place for creative ways to preserve your
memories! Located in Birds Hill, Manitoba, our photography
services cater to the local community and
many of our digital products are web based so you can place your order from the comfort
of your own home and have it delivered right to your mailbox! Web-design
services use your snapshots and we always send a proof by e-mail for your
suggestions and changes and of course, your stamp of approval before any orders
are sent to the lab.
The Pixart Studio We have a fully equipped digital photography
studio. I shoot with a Nikon D70s, with three tungsten
portrait lights and several complimentary muslin backdrops. I also have a chromakey backdrop and can easily eliminate the background so that your
portraits can be blended into another image or montage. Photo sessions are never rushed. By shooting in
digital, your session is not restricted to two or three rolls of film and we can take several shots to get it just right. Plan for time to
have two or three "costume changes". If it is more convenient to have your
session in your home or another location, we can come to you. Babies
especially are more comfortable in their own surroundings, and Mom can take any
necessary time to nurse, change outfits or clean up inevitable messes!
Our images are processed in a professional lab
that uses the same quality Kodak
paper that the best wedding studios use. The papers are of the highest
archival quality and will not curl up and fade like the one-hour digital labs
that are popping up everywhere. Each print is hand-inspected at the the lab and
then by me to insure the utmost quality.
